Yenifoca

Yenifoca is a fishing & holiday village 1.5 hours drive North of the Turkish city of Izmir. The village is situated in a large bay surrounded by hills, it has a picturesque harbour lined with bars and restaurants, and along the bay there are 2 small shingle beaches.

The village has plenty of shops & markets for everyday shopping requirements, with a fresh fish market on the harbour side.  English is spoken in a few places, but a few everyday Turkish words will help....

You can walk down to the town from the house in around 20 minutes (just over 1 mile), its uphill on the way back,  a taxi will cost around £2.....
